Weed Control within the City limits

• The definition of a weed is any tall grass or vegetation sprouted as volunteers that is over nine (9) inches tall.
• This includes any sprouted volunteer growth growing along fence lines and public right-a-way.
• Trees, bushes, shrubs, ornamental plants agricultural plants or anything planted by a person is not considered a weed.
• If a property has weeds or rank vegetation that is over nine (9) inches the property is in violation of the city code.
• We take complaints by phone, e-mail, walk-in to the office, or a written letter mailed to the office.
