Mayor's Education Roundtable
Mayor Stephanie Terry convened the Mayor's Youth Education Roundtable in March 2024, as part of her 100-Day plan for her first days in office.
Comprised of educators, administrators, not-for-profit leaders, and other stakeholders in youth development, the Mayor's Education Roundtable meets regularly to discuss issues surrounding youth and student success in Evansville. While not advising on curriculum in Evansville schools, the Mayor's Education Roundtable regularly raises, discusses, and advises on ways the community can better support students across Evansville.
Currently, the Roundtable is charged with creating a comprehensive Youth Master Plan for Evansville. When completed, the Youth Master Plan will offer a map to how Evansville can ensure that all youth have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed socially, emotionally, and academically.
