The City of Evansville has recently been upgraded to a Phase 1 Community by Indiana Department of Environmental Management. With that classification change, there will be some new inspection requirements for certain Retail Establishments, such as Restaurants and Food Establishments as well as Fueling Stations and Auto Body Repair Shops. The preliminary inspections have begun, and owners and proprietors should be expecting an onsite inspection.
