(September 9, 2019) — Eastland Mall will host the September Traveling City Hall meeting on Saturday, September 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 800 North Green River Road in the JCPenney Court area. The meeting will preview Fire Prevention Week in October.

The public is encouraged to attend and learn about fire prevention and safety from Evansville Fire Department firefighters.

Eastland Mall will have a gift card giveaway. During the meeting, the public can register to receive one of four $25 gift cards from various Eastland Mall retailers.

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and city department heads will be available to talk one-on-one with city residents about any issue involving local government. The event is free and open to everyone.
