The County Engineering Department reviews the road plans for all new subdivisions within the unincorporated areas of Vanderburgh County.  The Department also conducts inspections of all subdivisions under development in the unincorporated areas of Vanderburgh County to verify compliance with both County standards and the approved plans for the subdivision.  Inspections generally cover road construction, storm sewer facilities, surface drainage facilities, finished site grading, and proper vegetative cover.
