BURDETTE PAVILION
For those planning a really big party, try the Pavilion. It's central location in the Park offers a large parking area, is within walking distance of the Aquatic Center, and has availability for caterers to serve guests. The Pavilion will accommodate as many as 1,000 guests. An ideal location for Spring, Summer, and Fall.

SHELTER HOUSES
Burdette Park has a variety of attractive shelter houses throughout the wooded areas of the park. The rental houses range in size and will accommodate anywhere from twenty-five people up to two hundred fifty. Most buildings have central heat and air with cozy fireplaces and are available year-round.

CHALETS
Burdette offers beautiful chalets for overnight (or week-long) sleeping accommodations which will accommodate as many as eight guests per unit. Each chalet has a breakfast bar, a fireplace, and most furnishings. The chalets also have digital satellite television, linens, dishes, and a microwave. Some units offer a whirlpool bathtub. All chalets may be rented year-round.

CAMPGROUNDS
The camping area has accommodations including shower and restroom facilities. The RV camping area offers 28 sites; 18 offer water, sewer, and electric. There is also a wooded area for primitive tent camping.

BMX RACING TRACK
Burdette's BMX Racing Track is generally used for regional and national race meets, and is efficiently maintained by the local BMX association for such events.

FISHING LAKE
The stocked lakes are open to everyone on a year-round basis at no charge. All local and Indiana fishing laws apply. State of Indiana fishing license is required.

PLAYING FIELDS
Burdette offers two fields that are available for baseball games and leagues. Please contact main office at 812-435-5602.

TENNIS COURTS
Burdette offers four professional lighted tennis courts. No reservations are required and there's never a charge. All courts are available on a first-come first-serve basis. |
