This group provides support for the City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County's network back-end, which is made up of the hardware and software systems.

Some of the areas that are supported by this group are: security services, antivirus, data backups, servers, switches, routers and applications (e.g. email, data warehousing, and print services).

The management, maintenance and update of these items are also handled by this group.

The Network Support Group also provides support to the City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County  procurement and Capital Project process by assisting in development of project plans and obtaining related pricing information, as well as obtaining costs associated with network and server replacement.
