Air Emission Operating Permits
The Evansville Climate Collaborative (formerly known as EPA) is responsible for issuing certificates of operation (permits) for air emission sources within the city of Evansville.
We currently permit over 200 facilities ranging from small auto-body shops to large factories.
Facilities permitted by the Indiana Dept. or Environmental Management also need a municipal permit to operate in EEPA jurisdiction.
Many facilities not permitted also need a municipal permit to operate, and we can determine a a facility's need for a permit at no charge.
Permit applications can be found under "More Information" on this page.
