Riverfront & Historic District Liquor License
Municipal Riverfront Development Project Area
Indiana's Alcohol & Tobacco Commission may issue non-transferable, non-quoted alcoholic beverage permits within the boundary of the Municipal Riverfront Development Project Area (MRDPA).
Owners or Lessees must be located within the boundaries of one of the three redevelopment areas and within the boundary of the Municipal Riverfront Development Project Area, beverages must be sold at the location.

Your application to IATC must include acknowledgment from the Department of Metropolitan Development that the business qualifies for the MRDPA benefits.
Historic District
Per Indiana Code 7.1-3-20-16 item G, the Indiana Alcohol & Tobacco Commission may issue non-transferable, non-quoted alcoholic beverage permits within the boundary of a Historic District.
This permit is available for sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption to applicants, each of whom must be the proprietor, as owner or lessee, or both, of a restaurant located within the district, or not more than one thousand five hundred (1,500) feet from a district.
