Evansville is full of neighborhoods that have personality and history. 

For these neighborhoods to truly be home to residents, each one needs to be clean and safe. That's why Evansville is dedicated to
ensuring that all of our neighborhoods are places where residents can rest and play without worry. This means making sure that streets and sidewalks are repaired; it means ensuring that codes are enforced. It means safe, affordable, accessible housing, and it means eliminating blight.

This is how we bring back the beauty and vibrance of our neighborhoods.

Another feature of Evansville neighborhoods are the many parks located within and around them. While residents need a safe place to sleep at night, they also need safe places to play and raise families. Mayor Terry’s plan for neighborhood revitalization includes improving our community parks and trails.

These spaces are important for families, and it is important that we build them up, and that we maintain what we have built.
