3.30.097  Street Maintenance Department

• (A) There is hereby created the Street Maintenance Department as a Department of the Division of Transportation and Services.
• (B) The Department shall have as its head a Superintendent who shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve at his pleasure.  The Superintendent shall report to the Division Director.
• (C) The Street Maintenance Department shall be responsible for the Highway Garage and shall provide mechanical maintenance for the city's heavy equipment and emergency equipment.  The Department shall perform any additional functions assigned to it by the Division Director or this code.
