The City of Evansville Administration created the Project Manager role to help make the process of doing business in the City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County as easy as possible. This includes but is not limited to;

• Starting a Business
• Developing/Redeveloping Property
• Building Construction
• Changing Building Use or Occupancy

Interested parties that are involved with any Commercial projects will be required to go through Site Review which involves multiple Departments to approve a project. Improvement Location Permits are issued for all new buildings, additions to existing buildings, homes, accessory structures, pools, and business signage. The Project Manager will ensure that these projects will have no unnecessary delays and will ensure cooperation between City/County departments and project leaders. 

Under no circumstance will any Building Codes, Ordinances, or State Statutes be compromised. We want projects to be efficient but also safe for our community.

The Project Manager works hand in hand with developers, builders, and owners and serves as their advocate and go-to person when they are not sure who to contact with questions and/or issues.
